I'm afraid I'd approach that like I would a cobra in the dark Mike.

If your customer has a fabric that most cleaners shouldn't clean without training, encouraging them to apply any spotting agents to such fabrics is a recipe for disaster.

Just say something like that on your site, and leave your contact information. You can choose to give them some tips once they contact you and you find out more about what they have.

I, like many here, see how sofas that the clients spotted look like. And it ain't a pretty sight. Many times the damage is permanent.
The very reason why in all the spotting help that I provide my clients it particularly specifies that this is not for upholstery.

Since I assume that you're interested, because you're offering that protector (the one that sells territories) with the warranty, and you need the client to try first. Wouldn't the instruction that companies like Fiber Seal provide with the little spotting kit work for you?
