Sprung A Leak

My stainless steel mix tank on my Powerclean sprung a slow leak, like drip... drip... drip. It appears to be on the bottom near a weld, I'll be able to tell better when I take it off tomorrow and inspect it a little more closely. Anyway, the question is, any reason I can't patch it with JB weld or a similar product? And should I patch it from the inside, outside, or both? I really can't afford to have any down time as I am booked solid thru the end of June already so I need a quick fix. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, guys!

If it's on a weld you can often take a ball-peen hammer and a punch to it, just smack the weld and it will stop dripping. The punch swells the surrounding filler and stainless into the near invisible void.

Some plumbers epoxy putty will get you by if you don't want any down time.
If you are going to go through the trouble of removing it, do it right and get it rewelded.
