Whats the mix ratio ?

You can't mix it low enough to keep yourself from hacking and have it clean at the same time.

I think it's 8 oz. per gallon.

Hot Knife is the worst smelling stuff next to Modifier from CTI.

yea, and I do too!!
same for M&B, CTI's Brush & Bonnet, DSC's SpinVac and to a lesser extent, Scots Labs juice

actually, they don't make me cough, but all bother the back of throat when breathing, and often give me a headache to boot

It is nasty when you spray. I found if you hold the sprayer closer to the carpet it's not as bad. I now use Encap Green from Steve Smith and there's no problem.
