I know Steam Action has a reputation for big machines that are unreliable.

Any input? Would like a large machine, these hours, miles & price.

Is that the one you can run like 6-wands off of?

I've never seen one run but I know a competitor that has had his over to the local distributor several times because it overheats.

Well you are right that steam action has a reputation for lack of reliability. However, if you can get it at a great price then you might have to go for it. As we know, in the carpet cleaning business, it's all about getting bang for your buck on equipment if you're in it for the long haul. What have some of the angie's list carpet cleaning reviews said about the quality of work this does?

It looks like a good deal for someone who can wrench on it himself. Jon Don and interlink would make fun of you then bend you over if you took it in for service. It looks like a machine that would do better in a box truck so you could have a fresh water tank.
