Was in the local Jan supply to get some bonnets, noticed they added some carpet cleaning chems to the self, from steam pro,,, all they had before was generic jan chems.

So I never heard of this company steampro, looked up their website and look like their pre spray (1st step) is some versatile stuff that can be used for all carpet typs including wool, upholstery , pre spray and extraction.

Thought about giving it a try sense I can get it about 10 miles form my house. Has any one had experience with this product , or anyone currently using it? Just wondering if it would be worth a try or not. Thanks

I've never heard of them, but I will say this. And this is just me, but I tend to stay away from "all purpose" products.
If I'm cleaning a delicate upholstery that is mildly dirty and then carpet that is more dirty, I want two different products that are designed for specifically what I am doing. But I am fortunate to have many supply houses within an hour from me, 3 of them within 20 minutes.

I've only seen the Ad in CleanFax all the time.... I don't clean places that the Ad shows, so I never bothered to try it..... Plus having to ship stuff in is pricey...

My simple rule. I really don't like to buy from a secondary line of a company. For example if a company started with floor finish line than later added a carpet cleaning line and vice versa.

I think steampro was just sold to a large chem , company on Pa. The original company was in Cleveland O . Dave was the owner. I purchased their products from him. I still use the first step for special jobs Dave had a carpet cleaning company in Rocky river along with the chems ,but then closed the carpet unit and just made the chems. The product line was small but very good items. I think the chems unit started over 20 years ago. jz.
