Doe the (metal?) "heal" just take some of the weight off the wand head? Keeps it from biting in? It lets you lean the wand back and break the vacuum seal a bit to reduce effort?

This is a lightweight (10 lbs) carpet cleaning tool is manufactured with polished stainless steel for durability and a lasting finish.

The Steam Way 12" Stainless Steel Scrub Wand has a high pressure valve and flood jet for efficient cleaning of carpets. It is designed to handle working pressures up to 600 - 700 P.S.I., comes with an adjustable handle, and is designed for easy maintenance and long life.

Its enclosed jet "Protection Shield" design prevents over-spray, streaking, and retains heat. In comparison- testing with other industry wands, the Steam Way 12" Stainless Steel Scrub Wand was shown to maintain heat better than competitive models. Its one flood jet set-up allows carpets to be cleaned quickly and effectively with rapid drying time. Designed to be used with both truck mounted and high performance portable equipment.

NEW FAST 'N' DRYTM GLIDE HEEL

Now includes Fast 'n' Dry Stainless Steel Glide HeelTM for fewer calories per pull! This addition that is now standard with every scrub wand, will make your life soooooooo much easier!!

The Glide HeelTM is a creation by David Nalley who has cleaned carpets the "high-calorie way" for over 40 years. The main features of Glide HeelTM are,
1) It has the advantage of AIRFLOW and does not restrict the vacuum in any way.
2) You are able to maintain the unique AGITATION feature of the wand.
3) You can make more passes with less effort, a truly unique tool to help make your dedicated efforts pay off.
