One of the least expensive wands to buy and maintain. Nothing fancy, no enhanced airflow, but rugged, easy to use, simple and cheap to maintain. Jets and filters are cheap, wand valve is cheap but durable. I ordered a green glide for this one and it makes it a gem to use with a portable or as a backup for the truck. You can jet any way you want. This one's a six flow and I use with my porties mainly. Every time I buy a used portable, I get another aw29.

Oh geesh I have one of those in the shed. Someone gave it to me years ago. I got it working but just thought it was garbage.

I see glides have turned y'all into cupcakes

anyone that needs a glide w/AW29 hooked a porty, needs to get 'em a Jethro Bodine size bowl of Wheaties :icon_redface::icon_redface:

no, they don't dry any better (to complete dry) on cut pile
and they hinder cleaning on cut pile to boot

tsc, tsc, tsc

Depends on your portable. Mine is as powerful as a small truckmount. Even with a glide, the wand still sticks to the carpet. Especially my mach 12.

I'm not here to defend or the promote the aw 29. I have much better wands. At the same time, they work, they are reliable and simple. Most cleaners start out with one and progress from there. Not the best wand but definitely, not the worst. The aw is a hydro-force designation.

Hope you come out to Mikeyferst in Saint Petersburg in March and try several different wands and tools.
I used the hydrahoe for a very long time without a glide so I could scrub...no way I would ever go back to that thing...with or without a glide.

Anybody ever used this bad boy? I saw on the Magic Wand website that it is available in titanium for $600.
