We consolidated debt years ago put 25k zero interest van loan, pool and home loan rolled into interest only loan, we were gonna to spend less on interest. Send more to principle.

For 12 months straight interest went up.

The month I locked it into a fixed rate.

They stopped raising interest.

Get a ton of calls while I'm changing the oil and tightening the belt, being distracted and skip a step, screwing up the belt tensioner, making my engine sound like it's grinding itself to death

Now I'm curious about the Dirt Dragon.:eekk:
Is this to be another MB must-have tool of the moment to end up in my bone yard!?:dejection:🤣
A brush glide and a needle valve is your friend.

Dumb things we do due to season fluctuations...

Hire a relative that we can't fire later, you know when that 6 week summer rush is over and you start taking those calls from Angies or Yelp again..

Put your regular helper in your back up truck, or even worse, hire a relative to run in, during those 6 weeks..

Buy a $1600 wand because you think your customer will notice your commitment to your craft.

And a matching swivel stair wand..

Finance a 30k slide in because your $15k model leaks a little oil and you had three wick backs this month.

Buy a used Vortex because you landed a college turn account, and diesel prices spike on the drive home from California.

Believed that the college wouldn't price shop you next season because of the commitment you showed to your craft.

Buy into a Restoration franchise, when it's just you and your sisters kid on the truck and sister's kid doesn't answer his phone after 5pm or on Sundays.

Rent a shop to store your van, 3 cases of pre-spray a wand and just enough room to clean an 8x10 rug and those chairs that always brown out.

Think that the sister's kid wants to help you clean rugs back at your new shop after cleaning apartments all day.

Buy a Dirt Dragón and take an zoom class on how to ruin wood floors because that guy on facebook makes it look so easy.

Sell the used portable air duct cleaning machine for a down payment on the Dirt Dragon

Use pictures on your FB or Adwords campaign of filthy disgusting floors and get mad at your sister's kid when he get's redos on those that responded to the ad.

Install a Little Giant in your van because your Heat Exchanger wasn't getting carpet clean enough.

Mix three pre-sprays together because what the hell do those chemists know about cleaning shit anyways.

Wand all your commercial jobs because you're OLD SCHOOL!

Honey I sold your sewing machine to pay for another month of Pay Per Click.

I'm going to stay home and work ON the company while sister's kid and our shitty gardener go out on the truck.

Post pictures of your 32 jobs on the schedule on the FB SFS page

Post a thread on the FB SFS group on how to hire an experienced carpet tech who will do things your way, in November.

You get depressed when you sister's kid isn't as excited about the 9th sample bag of pre-spray you're trying this year, as you are.

Or the 12th piss product.

Hey sister's kid, guess what? I bought all of Rob's training videos so I want you and the gardener to start coming in an hour early each day to watch them.

Honey you can hang out at the pool while the sister's kid and I take three days of classes, during our busy season, because I want him to know that he's part of a larger community and not just me and I think he may learn to appreciate rugs more if he can learn how they make them and I think we can score a great deal on Dirt Dragon if we can take it home with us on the plane, so don't go shopping, just gamble ok?
Does it hurt?

Another step I can forgo when I use my beautiful Odyssey.

Did I mention my customers love the dry times and long-term clean?
This one definitely could’ve been padcapped. But I had already pulled hoses in to do a sectional sofa a loveseat chair and ottoman. The corner guards and a wetsuit runner got me the hundred dollar tip I guess

Put on a respirator and suggest they do the same. I usually get some to go out and pull weeds in the backyard
My dad was "back seat" nagging me while I was cleaning once--
I gave him a respirator while I was putting on ear muffs and said-- "We need to wear these while I'm working for our protection." :eekk: 🤣
My dad and the guys in the shop started laughing.
