you may remember my custom S bend hard floor wand John Olson had PFM make for me.
I had two issues, the handle was way to low when the head was held flush with the floor and the 1 1/2 tube needed one of those POS adapters....

I sent it back and they welded on another 6 inches in length as well as a 2 inch end...

Sweet!

just too bad no one thought o put a shrink wrap/heat shield on before adding the 2 inch convertor.

It really works nice now just make sure to get a full grip installed

John should be able to get you a piece of heat shrink tubing that would go over that 2" flare and shrink down to 1 1/2" with a heat gun.
I got some from Greenie years back.
