really

"Steam Cleaning relies on large volumes of heated water and vacuum to flush soils from carpet. In order to deep steam clean a carpet to the base, it must also be soaked to the base in order to attain this deep clean flushing action. Deep Steam cleaning can cause many problems with your carpet.'

I wonder what your carbon footprint was cleaning that carpet?

I could do a much better job with my ARMAGEDDON model 666 OP machine

you really think you cleaned or ruined that poor carpet

Good god man you need to change that liner out probably two or three times on that job. That is a ton of crud.

Jim;

I would have like to see a few minutes of Hoss extraction

vs.

a few minutes of 14" wand extraction on equal amounts of that dirty hallway carpet.

On my thermalwave I have the filter box with the mesh basket....I put a nylon on the hose conector to catch everything so it does not clog up that basket...works great...even when it gets full it still allows the machine to breath........

cheap........ disposable filter that it easy to change between jobs....

That's what I call a "Living the Dream" job.

Those are even better with a couple of untrained Yorkie's.

Nice work Jim. I run into a few of those a month it seems like.

Hope to order some Flex with local friend soon.

I've been cleaning for long enough that I believe in what I do. I even have a bit of a hard time, whenever I have help, watching someone swing the wand and do the things I do. I can just tell they don't quite "get it".

There are lots of guys on here that I think really know how to clean. Jim is a guy I'd like to ride along with because I could learn a lot!

Excellent work Jim. I bet you were having some fun with that one. That's what we have grown to refer to as a "restorative cleaning". For us, our square foot pricing makes the most sense in these cases. Cleaning at that level commands Surdi bucks!.....well not quite ;-).

Seriously Larry, do you think any wand is going to pull sand and crud out like a RE will?

Have you ever cleaned a carpet like that before or do you count on your Specialists to form these asinine conclusions?

No. A wand will not pull as much.

I was seeing the difference first with the Rx20 back 12-13 years ago...I couldn't believe what you could do with a RE.

Sometimes his desire for a sales infomercial out weighs his common sense.

If you could do it with a wand, it would be a production killer. Rotary is your best option when confronted with carpets in that condition.

A RE digs SO MUCH crap out of the carpet, you better have a good in line filter or some other way of dealing with all that extra stuff you are pulling out...even after a thorough prevac.

Jim is the real deal.

The only thing that gets me is your inline filtering system. It works no doubt, when you had your vortex is that how you filtered as well? That's my main love with the Aerotech/Vortex is running filterless and just filter when you drain thru the same nylon sock, or in my case just let it all go down the sewer. I just keep those same nylons on my blower filters and quick replace every week or two.

I really did not filter that much with the Vortex because the bottom of the tank was dished and everything drained right out..so you did not get a lot of build up in it....

All my other machines I really watch what goes in them....I keep nylons on my blower filters to they are easy to clean and they last forever...and I filter everything that comes into the trucks....nylons work the best.....they trap things better..and still allow the machine to breath...it is rare that I lose any suction during any of my cleanings.......and my tanks are always clean.....
