Jim, do you use nylons in an inline filter? I've been buying 5 gallon paint strainers (with elastic top) and chucking them when I'm done with them. I'm getting them for about a buck a piece and open to trying something else.

I have the smaller Devastator.

I use the Devastator on my 570 and I use what you do....but a nylon will work if you put it on the vac port.....and the hose holds it...

I have a filter box on my Thermalwave and I put a nylon in the vac port to catch everything........

Many many uses for nylons
