I may have to do one of those contests.

Are you required to pay even if all the logo's suck and you don't want any? I know you can extend the contest but other than that. I would hate to purchase something I didn't like.

With that said, all the logo's I've seen posted here look pretty darn good and would be worth the few bucks.

this guy is so perceptive it is crazy. Didn't I just do one of these contests that he gave his opinion?
They will get better because nothing stands out 16+9 are the ones I like
Dump the lightbulb thing and it improves those ones

Number 3 here, as well:
Simple, clean, easy to understand.

All the other ones have a lot of unnecessary fluff and clutter.

to be honest.....none of the above........they need more pzazz.....more flare....something that is easy to read .........but eye catching at the same time..........those all look like everyone else's... don't look like everyone else...set yourself apart.......create something that will make them turn there head to look....not turn there head away and just think to themselves...there goes another one........

I like #6 because it's simple and there is a bit of a modern flooring in the logo. Kinda like a step I guess.
Good colors, classy yet modern.
But really, trust me....#6 is the way to go. You gonna believe these other yahoos?

The only thing I would change about it is, make the "Floor Care" stand out a little more.
I believe you can suggest that.

#2...the first one has the potential to be really good. If you read the font better it would rock. I really like the background and the general layout. Just a little too fancy of a font.
Not sure if you want them to work on that too much.

Just a thought.

Number three without a doubt.

I may have been too easy with my designer as I took the first thing she threw out. I told her I wanted something simple, easy to read, and not flashy.

This is what I got. I may change it down the road, but for now it does ok.

Marc - a word to the wise.

I have had a hard time marketing and getting a positive response with "floor care". If I had a dollar for everytime someone said "do you install floors, do you sell flooring" I would be retired. There is a lot of confusion from the public's view of what floor care means. Have something in the logo that will make someone think immediately to cleaning.

This may change over time as more companies are changing their name from "carpet cleaning" to floor care. I have had better luck in the commercial environment, but the residential group is still struggling with it.

#6 or #5
I think the footprint looks a little cheesy.
#21 would be my pick if you are keeping the feet....The whole thing is pretty good.

Oh, I just noticed #22 if you're going to keep a foot print.

I still say fix the font in #2 and you have a winner.

#24 isn't bad but it looks a little surfer-ish

My pic as is for overall is #6 still.

All will look good so I don't think you can lose Marc.
