We clean carpet in a large regional hospital. One night we are running hoses through the hallways, It is after visiting hours so we are only dealing with hospital employees. We set the caution signs up first, warned all the employees to be careful stepping over hoses. After we informed everyone, an employee came out of the locker room with boxes in front of her face, steps on the hose and proceeds to stumble down the hallway for about 15' running into a door frame head on. The impact knocked her out. She came to and was taken to the Emergency room. Next morning called my contact in purchasing to see how she was, I was told she was wearing clogs on her feet which was against their work place rules. They told me not to worry, workers comp claim.
