"Hey Mr. Steve, Senor Rolley is making weird noises!"
Rolley is my wonderful, hardworking Duplex dp420 and we were fixing to scrub a vinyl floor. One of the roller brushes was all jammed, so we used the 175 and a mop.
Then yesterday I opened it up and found four shattered nylon gears. Sorrow in my soul... But a search of the Stinkernet found no parts. Never claimed to be good at searching.
Anyhow, my man Rodney at Excellent Supply had a parts schematic to me in 30 minutes and we'll be getting the replacement gears in due course. So here's my questions:
With CRB's, what has been your experience with gears failing? Age, sucking cords, jouncing the machine, what?
I'm looking for anything to help train the elves in the path of righteousness.
