How does the swivel feel on the original two year old wand?

Exact same as the brand new ones. I was interested to see if there would be any noticeable difference and there is not. That said I have't ever greased the swivel. Tom sent a few grease fittings so I plan on doing that just for maintenance now, every 12-18 months or so.

Probably not but they've been running the older model for about 2 years now and its held up great

One thing I don't understand is why it might need greased every 12-18months. How much friction is really in there. This isn't axle joints on a car. It should only need greased once, it seems. That is if it's built right, which, from what the feedback on Tom's wand shows, is.

Some people will be using it more than twice a month.
