The dial on the PowerForce Dial-A-Mix

You get my point. I'm used to the Hydroforce where it stops spinning, telling you that it's fully closed. Is the dial on the PowerForce engineered differently so it doesn't matter how much it's spun, making it more accurate?

I didn't order from texas. I'm just wondering if I set it on 24...is it gonna be the same dilution of 24 if I do a full 360degree turn?

Time for the 5 gallon bucket test. Thats how I regulate my HF. I know my 7qt HF with an 8:1 tip will produce 12 gallons RTU.

Every once in a while, run half a gallon of vinegar through it. It will clean out all the detergent residue.

Look on the side of the unit....

there is an arrow and it is usually on the left side as you would be looking down from above at the unit.

Line up the number with the 4 to 1 setting...or 8 setting....but suggest 4 setting.

The dial on top with a ball bearing underneath it to help keep it in place....there are different size orifices holes on that dial.

Keep it cleaned off as well...it will get tough to spin otherwise later...and sometimes you still might need a large pliers to move it.

I have one with a dial out on one of my trucks yet...I will try to take a pic of the arrow on the side for you....

It is a Multi Sprayer brand unit....I don't get the dials anymore....don't really need the dials for ourselves anymore but love the Multi Sprayer brand that is private labeled for JonDon as Power Force.

I'm aware of the arrow on the side. I was just wondering of how the design is engineered, because of the way it spins. And I see some vaseline applied on the dial itself, so I'll try to keep it cleaned and lubed up. That sounded a little creepy, sorry.

I'm not big on the 4 setting anymore, because of how fast it empties the jug. I hate refilling my jug in the middle of a job. Loss of time means loss of money

The 4 to 1 does allow better metering I have found and also with it emptying the jug faster yiu can tell when a dema valve goes bad. (happened more than once )

I used to do 8 to 1 and in experiments found a few things.

Think of this.

5 quart container. Adding 20 ounces of powder (or chemistry) with the 5 quarts of water

Adding 10 ounces of powder (or chems) with the 5 quarts of water... A lot less chemistry that water has to be able to mix with and then in a sense a thinner less goobered up mix that has to be pulled through that siphon and tube.

Usually more consistent flow.

And some chems just work better with 4 to 1 metering.

Here's a thought. Don't mix powder in your hydroforce. Stir it up in a pail first then pour into hydroforce.

I bought a bad batch of replacement dema valves, because they're not that old, and it empties the jug in no time. Either way, I've got this PowerForce, and I was needing to know how it works. Thanks for answering my question. These other idiots just rambled

I like to mix up a fresh batch on every job also, because I put a scoop of osr in it with boiling hot water.

But on jobs like the one I'm going to be doing thursday and friday with 12hrs of nonstop wanding...I'm gonna give the powder mixes a break and use my liquid prespray. (Harvard Grime Release) Why? Because I'm gonna save time. I'll just turn up the dial to 32 on my inline sprayer, and it'll last the whole job. This is the one and only reason I like to have a dial...when I don't have time to premix my stuff. This is why I feel we need the dial sprayers
