It depends on what ones cost structure is. There is not an absolute answer.

Your vehical and Equipment payments, and repairs should comprise around 5% of your gross income.

I am not sure I understand the question, but I do know that one does not make a profit by spending money on purchases and repair. The profit is made by charging enough for your service that you have some left after paying for those things and yourself. Profit is what will allow the business to grow.

Each situation is different. So what it takes for your business to make a profit will not be the same as anyone else who posts a reply.
