The Ronald McDonald house was there for me 34 years ago in Richmond, Va when my first child (daughter) was born 6 weeks early and was in the ICU for about a week. I am sure that there are hundreds of thousands who have been helped over the years. There was a lot of stress at that time and they took care of housing, meals, and emotional support for many parents in the same degree of difficulty. I supported them with my business and change since then. It was good to pay back in a more significant way. I believe that I got more from the day than they got from me.
Mikey deserves congratualtions for his commitment to charity along with all who were at the house. Damon ran his truckmount all day and worked his butt off. Jim Pemberton did a lot of delicate cleaning as well as instruction. Tim Baker and Keith Studebaker were always around assisting in some way. Stone Pro polished a lot of granite countertops and travertine table
tops. Reg Rogers showed many how to used dry powder to clean hard floors. There were many helpers that I do not remember their names that should also be acknowledged. It was a good thing to do.
