Weirdest for me was a super drunk guy paid me 400 to clean the nastiest carpet I've ever done. 2 days later I drove by and they'd bull dozed the house.

How bout the young lady w/her Little House on the Prairie collection, right next to her hard core porn collection (VHS- it was a few :roll: years ago) on her dresser, also she had a pic of a "freind" on her mirror, her "freind" was posing nude w/a LARGE pepermint stick! :wink: :wink:

HI everybody, PowerClean here, new in town. Been cleaning carpets fopr over 30 years so I have lots of stories.


Some happened to my techs some happened to me.

Strangest one was old lady must have wieghed 280 pounds kept taking off her clothes and trying to get my techs to go to bed with her.

The first two techs we had sent over there were young and goodlooking. They both left before finishing the job. I sent over my general manager who was not young nor was he particularly goodlooking. She left him alone and we finished the job.

We clean a gay bar where when my (young and goodlooking) tech arrived the people there kept following him around and staring at him. The next time they called they asked for him by name. He refused to go. I sent my general manager. No problems.

25 years ago on a job I did, when I arrived at the house there was so much clothes, toys, trash and assorted junk on the floor that the lady had her kids using snow shovels to clear a space, I would clean that space and they would shovel junk onto the clean space to clear a spot for me to clean next. Of course she was screaming at the kids the whole time. What a nightmare. The worst part is I knew the lady from church and had to see her everyweek.

We went to clean an unoccupied home and when we arrived discovered that the place had been vandalized. Broken windows with glass in the carpets, paint all over walls and carpet. They had defacated and urinated all over the carpet. Much more damage. The owner didn't even know this had happened. Boy was he mad when he got there. We got it all cleaned up.


Found a dead petrified cat behind a bookcase once. The owner said, oh we wondered what happened to the cat.
