interesting reading...

hence is why when people do the math in their head, and figure out the $100 per hr or so they are paying....I then proceed to inform them, thats only timed work and doesnt acct for repairs, or maint. of equip, or taking the time to bill, or to hit the pavement...

then there eyes start to close a little and realize maybe they are happy where they are....

and that wasnt even going into the cost of equipment :shock: :shock: :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

That was a great read, I agree with a lot of it. When it comes to being self employed I think people get caught up in the idea that it entails freedom. It actually means anything but freedom. EVERYONE is your boss when you are self employed and the whole thing is your responsibility to keep going. No shortage of stress in that situation.
