I used one last week and went back to the weird brass wire looking thing.

But to confess my cleaning sins for a minute:

After an hour of brushing this stupid static couch, I was so mad when I brushed and noticed the static pulling the hair back on the fabric before I had time to grab it, I

Used my vacuum cleaner beater bar to get the remainder of the hair off. It looked so unprofessional to hold my vacuum upside down. I was so pissed

Ive bought several different products for removing pet hair from furniture over the years and i still go back to my good ole tried n true angel hair brass velvet grooming brush. It works extremely well but Once used for pet hair it is usless for grooming upholstery. I carry a separate one for that . They're relatively inexpensive, easy to use, gets into corners and is easily cleaned until the bristles get crushed then to completely clean i use compressed air
