Just follow the videos - start to finish 1 hour to do the work.

Don't forget to turn the gas off at the source before you start!

Everybody's a critic....

Bob, how much more heat do you think you have? Is the red dial set to the factory spec or did you make it go hotter than 220 degrees?

It has not been tampered with and is at factory specification. I can't hang on to my wand without gloves when I have the temperature pinned. It has a very loud steam pop sound when you trigger the wand. Its running over 230 for sure. I only use it that hot for restaurants or really trashed places.

The rest of the time I turn it down a bit because its safer and easier on the valves and O rings. Once you become accustomed to cleaning with real heat it's just not the same working without it. Not to mention you can cut your chems almost in half running high heat.

I've been cleaning mine about every 6-9mths
I listen for how it starts up, I can tell when it needs a cleaning.
I've rarely had mine pegged, usually run it about 3/4" from pegged, I get 200F with 15 flow at 550psi. Plenty hot for me and all I need in restaurants.

I took mine apart today had 2 jets in the middle about stopped up. I also checked my thermostat and mine was clicking off WAY WAY before the 70 mark. Like at 5 oclock if the 70 mark is at 1 oclock

My Little Giant sits on a shelf next to the sink to heat water at the shop....if I need it. I only have a cold water supply. Used to heat my portables water.....way back in the 80's.

Hey Les i might have worded it wrong but i adjusted it just like you showed. Turning it to the right till it clicks, then back to the left towards 70 where it clicks shut. Before this i had to turn it almost all the way to the right before it clicked, then when turning it back towards 70 it would click at like 5oclock not the 70 mark.
