Couple points, it;s underneath thats as important.

I would have prefered the walls on top of the floor for natural watershed

i just finished mine about a year ago, on a 2nd floor,not a lick of caulk

there is already acrylic latex in most grouts.... from talking with t-support , adding more can be detrimental.

I'd assume he means lay the wall tile on top of the floor tile. Bottom edge of wall tile would sit on floor tile.

yes, thats is what i mean. floor in first..walls on top...

it is done the other way to save time.

I had my entire shower done with the kerdi system- pre- pitched floor. No weep holes- superior

i was taking test showers before trav even went in
