Do you think your clients would clean their vinyl, wood and tile more often if you could offer these floors at your carpet cleaning rates?

( Assuming the floors dont need deep or restorative cleaning)

do you think more people would have housekeepers if there were more "Guadalupe's from Honduras" willing to work cheap?

Instinct over polls .
Of course...
An by being around more your trained eye will find.
If not in the house, then referrals.
Logic says if your there alot.
Then friends are even easier to obtain .
Your reward is when they say.
My friend the realtor(etc),called for your contact info ...
Saving money, great quality no brainer...

Some.
I think it's a potential for some households.

I'd laugh and show you the door at my home. Even at carpet cleaning rates it can get pricey if you have a lot of tile.

I'd probably wait until it got so bad I couldn't correct it. Then I'd call you. 🤭

good point, but when I first started I looked at all the other companies that were doing carpet cleaning and the thing that I noticed was that they also listed a lot of other services. Jack of all trades, master of none was my thought. So I named my company Carpet Specialists. My mission was to be the best carpet cleaner in the area. Eventually we also added upholstery cleaning but kept the mission in force. Sure, you can do leather cleaning, tile cleaning, rug cleaning, drapery cleaning, blind cleaning and so on. I just want to do the best that I can in one thing. This works for me but its not for everyone.

40 years later, id do the same thing. My customers appreciate it and I appreciate them.

Really? my customers appreciate that I offer and excel at so many different services.

Why the hell would you want them looking for someone to clean tile and rugs and upholstery and stone who can come into the house and easily replace you if their breath is just that much mintier..

Honestly how hard is it to be a carpet specialist? Any moron with two arms and two legs can be cleaning in 5-minutes.
To be a specialist certainly would take more time...10-minutes? 😉

Seriously I'd think you could train a tech that's willing to learn and put out effort in a couple of weeks.
