I wonder how they made (and dyed) silk rugs before Perkins invented synthetic dyes in the 1860's? I think they've lost the knowledge to do what their ancestors did routinely... I know the Japanese & Chinese have been dyeing silk kimonos and textiles for thousands of years too. Still, what a geat video! Nice work.
