So I am reading this...and now are they offering the Austrian Made units?

Doing things different?

Weren't these the units that were having parts from overseas put in them and going bad?

I am a bit confused.....

As a former distributor, my experience with Brush & Clean was a bad one too. Their approach to business wasn't good when they were Brush & Clean, and it rapidly deteriorated when they became Strong Dry (Chinese knock-off). When I work with any manufacturer I expect to work together based on a level of reciprocal trust. That's essential! Sadly, the level of "trust" just wasn't there. The story above doesn't surprise me at all.

I'm sure Kelly had issues reping that line but he continued selling a machine he knew to be absolute crap, now he sends out that stupid email looking for a pity party. Someone needs to tell him business is a game for adults and continuing to sell a crap machine only works for a few OP salesmen who have crap version 1, crap version 2, crap version 3....... A new one coming out as often as the Iphone and in more colors, LOL

They might also mention that use of a name doesn't give you "ownership" of that name, Federal TradeMarks do and in some cases International Trademarks (he was dealing with people out of the country pretending to be based in Florida) so an international trademark would have been a smart move. The story about grandpa is touching but won't win a Trademark dispute.

Moral of the story: Deal with someone really in Florida if they claim to be. Someone that once lost well over 10 large (as in $10,000) taking back machines that were dead on arrival instead of making excuses and lying to carpet cleaners. Like maybe Excellent Supply. In all the years dealing with them, the only problem was a stale Jolly Rancher when I visited their place while in town for a funeral. You should have seen the look on my sister's face when I started loading up her mini-van with Release It. She didn't believe that all carpet cleaners hunt down supplies when in town for a funeral but I got my juice.

Man I have no idea what is going on.

I delt with Marcus direct and bought a 15" strong crb a few years ago. He took good care of me and even took care of a repair under warranty and paid the shipping both ways.

Is Marcus the bad guy in this? Are there 2 seperate companies now? Is my remaining warranty still good?
