with 100' of 2.5 and 50 of 2 and the blower spinning at 3600 rpms my lift is on 5hg. Why is yours so high.

The max rpm for the 5-M blower is 2850, tell me what RPM your motor is, then look at the pulley on the motor and see what size it is, then the blower pulley.

If memory serves me correctly Les the engine is 10" and the blower is 8.5". IT turns at 2400 rpms. You are right i believe that is 2825 rpms for the blower, just below it's max of 2850. Still with 100 of 2.5 and 50 of 2 i sit at 5hg.
