It uses the van radiator coolant to run thru a HX'r .
It's one of the more (most) bullet proof reliable type of HX'r
as far as heat, 200 give or take in summer, 'bout a buck-eighty in winter..depending

Those plastic 90's are very restrictive, I don't even think they are a full 2" opening. A smooth flowing curve is better than an abrupt "L" shaped pattern. I'd like to change mine out on my CDS eventually.....but I'm a BDCC and have been doing without with no problems.
