I've seen dried encap before but it usually doesn't look this clear and feel like broken glass when dry.

This stuff is like an episode of Breaking Bad.

Anyone else notice certain brands of encap drying more clear than others?

I would imagine the more clear the encap the higher the quality and better the performance.

But, i could be totally wrong.

There's no point in wearing respirators if you have beard stubble. The respirator won't seal. Just sayin.

if the anti-resoil polymer is that brittle.

Carpet fibers flex when they are walked on.

Color is not a significant factor; Teflon is not clear when thick layers are dried.

Breaking Bad is the best show on television. Great writers, they always throw you a curve ball when you think you've got it figured out.

As far as the encap is concerned, I'm no expert, but I'd say it's not doing it's job if that's what you're getting.

was that juice mixed at RTU dilutions before you dried it??

if not, it don't mean squat

further, drying it in a dish ain't diddly either ...cause carpet ain't a dish or bowl.

spray it on some carpet samples and see if the pixie dust breaks off into your dylithium crystals

I dont agree , when the polymers dry to a brittle crytal I would think they would make easier to extract via post vacuuming. I have tried crap encap products that dry to a sticky ball or booger like substance. I have noticed the better encap products tend to dry to more of a brittle crytal. I have 75k sq ft of cgd we encap twice a year so I have had time to make an informed opinion on encap products.

The brittle polymer WILL break off from the fiber after only a few foot traffics.

Then you will have NO protection left on the fiber.

Yeah Larry the polymer and the soil trapped in it is SUPPOSED to be romoved from the fiber. That's how the soil load is lowered & a build up of polymer is prevented.
