done in the customers driveway...
.
I just did a tufted rug with my homemade rug sucker and had no problem. This rug was saturated with urine so I made up a strong urinse solution in a 5 gal bucket. Poured it over the rug, let it sit for 1/2 hour and rolled it around the Rons rug extractor and hooked up the tm. Let it run for 10 min. You could see the rug sucking into the unit. When I disconnected the rug was just damp. Oh yeah, I rinsed it with a hose when it was extracting and you could the water just passing thru it. I wrapped it up for the customer today and no browning and no odor. If my homemade piece of junk works so well, you can imagine what a professional one will do. Who knows, maybe mine works better.I would like to see, how a tufted rug will be looking when they unroll it and the dissolved secondary backing is all over the rug..

Actually I recal seeing it being advertised as such on another group when it came out.The video gives the impression that this could be done in the customers driveway...
lordy.
Got my Authentic rug sucker today..
Amazing!
It works So much better then my knock-off version.. I think the rug is dryer then a centrifuge would produce. I'm already thinking of buying another.
So how much different was it from the one you made? Sounds like it was worth the money.Got my Authentic rug sucker today..

Much better and worth the extra money. So how much different was it from the one you made? Sounds like it was worth the money.
How long did you let it suck for? Type of rug?
can you give us a little feed back on your ETM. What is your power source an what type of plugs are you using? Have you tried on any jobs yet? Sorry, my thumbs are all fingers today.less then 5 minutes with the ETM. Wool shag was dry next morning after being in luke warm 85 degree drying room.

sounds like a nice inplant machine. wont't annoy your neighbors as much as a tm roaring outside.I had a 208 outlet 50amp (3 prong dryer outlet) installed.
I've only used it for in plant cleanings. The ETM is too big/complex to set up for most porty jobs--we perfer to reg Portis for most of the small jobs we get.
Using the "Hunter boxes" was a pain. I'll only use The ETM on jobs over 3000sq ft. Where a TM won't work.
