I used my custys washing machine dump line for my pump out and forgot to put the hose back in. Washing machine cycled and a load of rinse water went down the hall and into the living room over their hardwood floor. Custy saw it and removed the water pretty fast but the grain is starting to raise. Hoping my insurance will cover it, if not I'll be cutting a fat check. A hard lesson to learn.

If you can get a floor drying system on it right away you have a chance of saving the floor.
Injectidry or Drieaz
I've seen raised areas drop back down to where you never knew it had water on it.

We just dried 3-floors in the last 2-weeks, one had 22-panels setup.
This one had so much water go through it we had to rig a separator
so the unit didn't get water sucked into it.

Get with a restorer in your area.

Dittos on the Injectidry. We just did a job where the hardwood by the dishwasher was very badly cupped - leaked for a while before it was detected, and they were told by the adjuster to let it dry by itself. We were there for another water issue and saw what was going on. We dried it with an Injectdry for a week and it all returned to near normal when dry. They might not even need to refinish it.
