If you want to add capacity to your waste tank at little cost, you MUST remove the hoses that dump water into it and run them out on the ground. You will be amazed at how much unused water gets dumped into the waste tank.

just running it to the ground could get you in trouble with local authorities if their laws are appertain to your situation.

Best to route back to fresh water tank if available. if not ???On some machines this water is already charged with your cleaning solutions. Just mentioned so you don't get surprised with a big Honken fine.....

i think mrs philfer wouldnt be too happy when she sees it neither clean water or not.

If'n you are bypassing that much water, why not kick up your wand jets a size and make better use of your heated water? a 20% increase in water consumption can put a big dent in the thermal bypass waste.
