one thing that should not be lost in all this is, Evan and his buddies from ICS knew full well this story was simmering on the burner, when they took ACE's money for a connections booth that year, they knew full well the story, ACE tried with them to get it shut down over there, ICS's reaction was to do nothing, take ACE's money and continue to allow them to have a booth at the show, this speaks volumes about their own character, they took money over, doing what is right. they used vegi johns money to pay for the booth essentially, how is this different from knowing of a crime and failing to report it, doesn't that make you an accomplice??? even more what about knowing full well unknowing cleaners who frequented their show might also suffer the same fate as vegi john?? now we have went from accomplice to driving the get a way car!!!!!!

ACE was not owned by Mr "N" either.

The managing junior partner ownership passed hands every few years to a different family member. And never did they have a controlling interest either. In fact ACE stopped making TM's only after a senior partner, not related to Mr. "N" sued to stop taking deposits for TM's without intent to manufacture them.

Soo, the same could be said even then. Nothing to do with Al.


With that kind of history, the "new" company will have to do quite a bit to distance themselves, if indeed they don't have a junior partner with the last name that starts with an "N".

Mikey I gots to say I feel it is in poor taste to call out a competitor like you did Evan. What makes this different than what you say happens over at another board about you?

How would you or anyone know what Evan or anyone at ics knew or knows about any of the ACE issues? Why would they even be paying attention to those things? Granted if there were some legal actions in place or being taken and the party involved was sending them info to try to put pressure on ACE then there could be an argument, however I don't recall anything like that and I hate to see uninvolved parties being trashed by other uninvolved parties, especially when the other uninvolved parties motive may not be pure.

The situation at EM Cleaning equipment.

The owner of the company is Frank Hall. He has no corporate, financial or family relationship to anyone or any entity related to Al Nessinger, his family or any other partners Al Nessinger had in ACE or All Cleaning Equipment or any other entity.

After the failure of Ace Frank Hall opened on his own repair shop to service carpet cleaners including ACE customers. He later was encouraged to start building machines again so he now does.

Because Nessinger abandoned the old phone number Frank Hall saw the value of picking up the phone number and did so. (That says a lot because he must have heard a lot of complaints)

Frank Hall bought nothing from Nessinger or related holdings and has completely restarted the company. Frank did say in a very diplomatic tone that Nessinger was a good designer but lacked in other business areas.

Frank was under the impression from what other people had told him that the carpet cleaning forums were insignificant to his business and that only people who were not that busy and not very successful spent time on the boards. After explaining the dynamics that these boards now have in the marketplace particularly to small manufacturers I think he now believes differently. I then encouraged Frank Hall to sign up here and he said he would try and do it next week. I told them what a bunch of hard asses we could be but the truth always comes out and it would be worthwhile for many reasons for him to participate.

As for how he might take care of people who were wronged by ACE he said this. I have taken each repair or warranty issue on a case by case basis but when the customer was wronged I have done the repairs for raw dead cost and most everyone has been supportive and appreciative of me.

When I asked Frank about vegijohn (John Stewart) he said that John should come and talk to him as he is willing to work something out.

I've done all I can so lets give this guy a fair chance to further explain as required and get on with his business.

I spoke with someone who knows the operation, and all the parties for many years. He was highly amused at the rendition given here. Many of those "facts", as you seem to put them, are dubious to others (to put it very mildly). You should know that.

Ace stiffed Connections for the cost of their booths too. Not sure if that means the owner intended to defraud or if his Connections spread was a last-ditch attempt to generate some operating capital and it didn't work out.

I don't know anything about the current owners of the former Ace phone number, but I know I wouldn't want it. If I had nothing to do with Ace except as a former employee I would have no problem charging people to repair their equipment. I might commiserate, and might even give them a break on charges just to win their loyalty. If I truly only worked there, I would feel zero responsibility for any financial losses perpetrated by the former owner and feel no obligation to "work something out" with those customers. I hope Frank is one of those too good to be true kinda guys.
