Thought this might be helpful to everyone with a SS tm.

Do people have to do this every night?
Or is this for people that are going to let it sit?
I'm glad I have a garage that stays warm.
I winterized my back up van, but I'm hoping I never have to use it again.

Do people have to do this every night?

Their money would be better spent on heater and electricity.

Trying to get all the antifreeze out seems like it would take a lot of flushing with water I can't dump.

Ya think maybe they(sapphire) could get around to a descale video next??? I've pretty much figured it out, but I'm sure it could help the next guy.

I'm thinking this would help people for emergencies, and also for when you go on vacation and you want to be sure your tm is protected just incase the power goes out,
or If your in a area where I typically doesn't freeze but you get a freak freeze and want to make sure your protected.

Never so happy to live somewhere its in the mid 80's. Winter finally arrived and it will get to 55. I don't think it has ever frozen here.

I was in home depot yesterday and wandered out to the fenced in outside garden center area and noticed 3 pressure washers lined up on display. I wonder if they were drained, antifreeze fed or waiting to burst !!

there was a 3100 psi one for $200 at our home depot yesterday, looked like it had been used before. could have been a refurbished one. almost bought it.

It's always good to know what to do in that case. The last time I drained antifreeze from a machine was in 1977 when we got our Steamway Turbomatic in mid winter. My only concern now would be if my Chevy Express broke down on the road on a cold day, with van engine disabled. (that has happened to me already, but it was still above freezing by the time it was towed). At least with a slide in, you can start tm engine and keep inside temps up.
