I’m splitting the tab for Cracker Barrel
Have you ever tasted moonshine? No sipping from the jug?
I have. I had an old uncle out in the sticks in the Eastern townships of Quebec who had a still. Probably not as good as that southern liquid corn.Have you ever tasted moonshine?
I have.. straight from ND. Strong stuff. My dad used it for cleaning car parts.Have you ever tasted moonshine?
Depends on who is in the kitchen. Our CBs are pretty good.
you gotta be kidding
If Cardboard barrel (what their food tastes like) weren't located directly off interstates , they'd fold up

Like a Chinese restaurant. Grunt and you shall receive.I love Dennys. Ya can point the pic of what you want. I never have to speak a word..
I was reminded of one thing I left out:
Every year, I ask Carol to not drop a political or religious "bomb" over dinner.
She has one sister who is a professor at a university and is liberal and an atheist, another sister who is deeply religious and believes women shouldn't work, a brother who is a vegan from Santa Cruz (of all places...), and another brother who is a conservative small business owner who loves hunting.
They always try to have a truce for the sake of their mother, who is the ruling matriarch of the family.
But then, invariably, Carol gets this smile on her face and deliberately brings up the whatever is the most incendiary issue of the day. Then she sits back and laughs....
Me? I'd rather enjoy the meal, but she sees it as "dinner and a show".
