I'm not cleaning enough to put up with the households of a powder in order to save money..

I'm a believer in running a 4.5 on most everything which I assume most of you are as well

If you don't use the powder rinse fast enough or keep a mallet hammer next to the jug, it turns rock solid. Total waste of frustration

The Harvard rinse plus 2-3ph has been impressive so far.

its been at least 10 years since I have used a rinse. good prespray, CRB and soft water rinse has left my customers carpet cleaner longer.

I know it goes against all of what we are taught.

I also know that Im a hack for not prevacuuming.

But Ill put up my results with anyones.

I am told rinse detergent has products to help protect the truckmount lines vs water alone.

You’re not necessarily a hack for not prevacuuming. Some markets won’t support it. If you can’t get paid for it, then don’t do it. However, don’t fool yourself into thinking your results might stack up against those who strictly follow the guides. Theres more to this than just what you can see. But again, you’re better off skipping it than going broke.

I'm mostly a plain water rinse kinda guy. Mainly because I use 600-650psi to rinse the carpet, unlike most guys who feel that 300 is all they need with their 2 flow wand. So I understand why you need a rinse agent on every job with that setup.

But a good rinse is needed mostly on carpet that has urine in it or is natural fiber carpet. For urine, just rinse it before you treat it with your rinse agent turned up. Then treat and you'll get much better results and less wicking.
