Tiny Tach Dead?

Anyone here ever have troubles with a tiny tach? Stopped reading rpms and now just reads hours without ever increasing.

Tried wrapping the cord around plug wire a couple more times in case the signal wasn't strong enough, but that didn't help.

Any tips? My guess is replace and be done with it. I just hate having to start at zero on hours again. For some reason, that just grinds my azz.

Is the ground wire still connected well? If so, probably just time for a new.

Tiny tachs are hit and miss.
Some go 10,000 hours, others 100.
Sometimes they stop working, then start again.

Mine died 1803 hours ago after 2286 hours.

My hr meter died. After many hrs but I just couldn't replace it. If there was an easy way to match the same numbers I would have. Traded for a new machine instead.

get an analog hour meter and hook it to a battery until it reaches the hours you want it set at.
