Haven't heard good things about this merger, I know there online sales is not like it used to be, they also cleared all my purchase history off the interlink site..

I have a good local sales rep, but aside from that Interlink has made it hard for us to do business with them over the past year or so.

I am hopeful they are turning the corner.

I've taken business away from tm only guys with a 60 psi portable. Watch out Richard, somebody might move to a neighborhood near you who knows how to clean carpets

Well if you're gonna sic the dogs, I mean pigs on them, I hear comments all day long about how good the equipment is, chemicals, etc but if you don't know how to use them, it means nothing. When I first started in my own business, I had a G.H. Wood portable and a powerbrush. Took my time and did beautiful work with it. Scrubbed the stairs by hand and rinsed. Took work away from all the big guys with their tm's. Yes, it's easier with a tm but only if you know what you're doing. I wouldn't trade my tm for a portable but if that's all I had, I can still knock you're socks off.

Great for someone who wants to semi retire

Actually, I did it in reverse. I retired out of the auto industry (GM) at 49 years old. 31 years service. I had been cleaning carpet all along, so I went into cleaning full time. Now, I'm on that down hill slope to permanent retirement.....well, kinda. You just can't get away from this business completely. But, I have brand new equipment (Pro1200), pad equipment, rotaries, Zippers.......

I hate when the gravel gets tracked in from the shitter. :winky:
The only way you track gravel in from the shitter is you took a muddy path TO the shitter.

Nothing wrong with taking a different road, but when it's about cutting corners thru the mud on the way to the shitter, NO.
