Is this just an OZONE machine or is this a different technology?

There is no mention or indicator of Ozone in the description.
Looks like a variation of UV sterilization and Ionization.

For Marty:
Nanoscale hydroxyl radical generation/ionization & multiphotonic high-frequency electromagnetic wave sterilization, with high-output quad rotary oscillator environmental dispersion.

Do you think this would be good for allergies?
I'm aware of the UV bulbs used inside duct work for the same purpose.
But I thought the UV produced OZONE as a by product.

Any cheaper alternatives?

I'm always interested in air purification for the home or what ever.

I kind of like the idea of air passing thru a device and frying what ever passes thru it.
Killing mold spores, viruses , dust etc.

But I wouldn't want that ozone smell either.

I think you'll find that in order to do what you want, you'll be on that frying!

You talk about snake oil salesmen, a metal buzzing box that cures just about everything is what a lot of what being sold to consumers.

Generally smelling it is bad for your health, if you can't smell it, it's probably not doing what you bought it for.

I just wouldn't invite smelly people over (Luddy) or have your mudder inlaw keep her shoes on!

Read the info here before you decide on any type of home air purifier.

It takes UV with a wavelength of less than 240 nm to produce ozone. The Titan 4000 is 365 nm wavelength UV, so the ozone output is probably quite insignificant..

No, it's not the unit that's a problem.

Cleaning the air in an occupied space with any Ozone generating unit is over sold.

If you want to clean it while you're gone that makes more sense, but for your own safety you don't want to breathe ozone for any extended length of time.

So this Titan 4000 is a scam.

I hope this is not a response to my post(s). I don't even come close to implying that the product is anything less than everything it says it is.
