Well, getting cooler even here on the west coast. SKy is clear and frost will be on the windows in the morning.

SO, what's working for y'all in the way of keeping your trucks warm,
...besides a garage

I went back over the posts - lots of good info:

And saw these ideas:

Infra red heaters

either the 500 or the 1000

Bilge/boat engine compartment heaters

Hot water forced air

RV propane heaters

Then there is the Oil filled radiant heaters, ceramic heaters, good old fashioned electric coil heaters.

Then there are some that should talk into a big plastic bag ay. Then they could cover their machine with bagged hot air... I heard it works only in Canadia...

Glad we don't have problems like that here South of the border...

Although my truck is always in a heated garage (40*), I've spent a few winters in my start-up years with a ceramic heater sitting in the middle of the van. It was always enough to keep everything warm, but created much condensation in the van, on the windows, all the metal parts.

Today, I'd go with the oil-filled DeLongi heaters, with maybe a small circulator fan to move the heat around.

My 3-bay garage is filled with collected crap....mostly my kids. The van just fits. I gotta get some pic's of it.
