Not real good with the mechanical part so it's goin in on monday.
When I would pull the trigger, the pump would bog down almost shutting the engine off. When I ran out to the truck I could hear some screamin going on. Probably a belt?
I turned it off, waited 20 minutes, tried it again...same thing.
So it's down till Monday..hopefully Monday.

I didn't see any water coming out anywhere.

What do the experts say?

Sounds like the flux capacitor. What kind of TM do you have?

Maybe your blower needs to be cleaned/oiled?

I squirt the w-d everyday in the blower whole.

All oil levers were and are fine.
Hope this doesn't cost me too much.

Actually I mistyped, it gets worse when I pulled the trigger. If I left it alone it would bring the normal sounding TM back.

Brian;

It sounds like a pump unloader problem.

Back off of the pressure adjustment to 50 PSI or so.

Does it bog at that pressure?

Then adjust it back to your normal spray pressure while triggering the wand on & off.

Brian,

Does it look like this?

If it does I'd say you might be in trouble.

BUT! If you had installed a flux capacitor you could go back in time to when your truckmount DID work and everything would be fine.

Re: TM took a dump on me...HELP!

when the TM is turned up does the engine bog?

I had a similar problem and it actually was 2 problems.
1. The filter in the water tank was clogging so I would lose pressure. So I pulled the filter cleaned it and put it back.
2. there is alot of bad gass going around so I put a little dry gas in. Another thing is people are running with lower fuel tanks and the crap on the bottom of the tank is getting in the fuel filter so change that regularly also. I keep a couple in the shop just in case

You know, now that you mention it, I didn't have a full tank, and I could have sworn I heard the vac relief. But my HG was ok at the time but the TM was all over the place and I was freaking out at the time.

Re: TM took a dump on me...HELP!

Ok, so I looked at the inside and nothing to see out of the ordinary.
Yea, like I know what I am looking at.
I started it up and did some spray and suck and nothing went wrong.

When I was using it and it started screwing up, I had the pressure at about 900psi with turbo hybrid. I have always ran it at that with no problems.

Maybe it got too hot? it was hot yesterday.
Maybe there was a leak somewhere and caused the belts to squeel and lose power?

I am afraid to use it tomorrow and I have jobs. I have already lost a little by 50/50 with a local guy.

I will take it to the shop tomorrow either way.
Stay tuned.

Sounds like you need to check your pump belt tightness. Cleaning tile puts alot more strain on the belt. May just need a belt.

Ok,
So it ended up just being a hose that was dripping onto the belts and the belts gott limp and chewed.
Thank god it didn't cost me too much. I am up and running today.

Thanks everyone for you help. I will have to go back to through the thread to see who was right. lol.

Ahhh the memories. lol

I kinda miss it sometimes....sorta.

I often day dream about running a small truck on some easy high end work.

Then of course I come to my senses. lmao.

I wouldn't mind starting a low moisture route. Low dollars to start and I could pick and choose who to clean.
I did own Chem-Drys years ago in my other life. I could make it happen.
"Priority the Dry Authority" Whattyathink?

I remember doing a hot seat in the Greenhorn room when I jumped off the truck. People were giving me hell ....and of course still do.

Gotta love this place.

This sucks

I had to read almost all the way to the bottom to find out this was an old thread. I was wondering why Brian was back on the truck?

I was a carpet cleaner for 25 + years (counting childhood) I've done some marketing stuff now and I help Jen with Mary Kay.
I've done Herbalife...which I am thinking of jumping into again. Just another "upsale" to the demo that I sell to now.

And it's good for you.
