Son in law was cleaning in the back room today....said he was a bit preoccupied...

Floor was too uneven to Zipper back there....so as the boss....I took the easier route and Zippered the front

Actually mainly HWE around here, but the encap wouldn't have been faster than the zipper really by the time I was set up and rolling...

My brother Kirk Saiger does ...well did a lot of encap, and now since getting the Zipper, he is finding the Zipper faster in a lot of cases...

but of course, there are some places harder to get to, so the Cimex is still the best for him in those cases...

Everything I have around here....people are not fans of any form of Low moisture.

We do have a low moisture guy....and he is a friend of mine, but people don't like it, so....I roll with what can make me the money and of course keep me busy.

I have a elder care facility I have been considering encap in some of the areas, but not sure I can sell them on it....

A good carpet cleaner can clean with any of the methods available.
They just need to know when to use them

I had to wash windows above a casket that was "occupied". Lid wide open. Elderly oriental woman in full white Buddhist robes. All I could think of is what the hell do I do if my ladder slips and I fall in with her.

Well....back to the encap vs HWE decission....

As I mentioned, the Low moisture cleaner guy in our area is a friend of mine....and another cleaner in town has also been doing some Low Moisture...and very poorly....and so is their HWE method at times.....

But....a lot of his accounts I am now cleaning with HWE (which were a number of their low moisture accounts)....

Are requesting HWE and no encap....

I have been told I could sell ice to an Eskimo....but not in these cases....

So, since they want HWE....I do HWE....and make good money at it.

This is a small community area, and most of the people know about the low moisture cleaning that has taken place in our area....

I have to agree with Mark on this, years ago we had a company using Von Shrader method. Carpet resoiled quickly and was wet for days. It is now a hard sell for low moisture cleaning.

I can understand, especially if your area is a bit anti-VLM.

But a Cimex on CGD is so effective and well suited that I don't really consider it part of the HWE vs VLM debate.

They would be fine with the cimex... And agree very effective... But if there wasn't some sort of HWE too... It would be NEXT CARPET CLEANER PLEASE... Lol
