I'm on my last job today and my phone rings. I look and the caller ID says its Tom". It's Devastator Tom. I'm using my new Porky wand so I figure he wants to know how I like it. I can't figure any other reason he'd call. So I answer and he says " did you call me"? I say no, must of been a butt dial.

He says " OH THANK GOD!" and hangs up on me!

What an asshole!

He called me intentionally today and we had a nice conversation...

He wanted to just make sure my new Devastator swivel head wand was working well for me :)

Nice job recking a wand. You will like the new swivel with the teflon bearing. No more slop. The new sockit head cap screws come with lock washers. Use some anti seize on them and tighten them this time. By the looks of that wand, someone is not using there vacuum.

The new swivel should be awesome. You were using needle bearings before?
LYingMan did your wand have the needle bearings in it, Mikeys have needle bearings in it?

Those tiny screws belong on a Rolex, NOT a wand for carpet cleaning techs. If Locktite was used they would never come off, two of them stripped the one and only time we took it apart. No bearings inside and no way to add tension to the swivle action. Its a horrible design that was a stepping point in Tony's swivle evolution.

Acording to Tony the latest version is on the way.

TOM, I wasn't using the needle bearing design . Mikey and I had the three ribs of metal and grease in between that didn't work well. Mikes fell apart, mine didn't. I would keep our post civil or you will have a fight you don't want. I am using tonys wand only because it works and is less hard earned money.

What I am saying is if it doesn't work well, why are you telling poeple it does? That is not cool $900-1070.00 is a lot of money
I can tell you that Mikeys wand is NOT the only wand doing this. So when you say something is good and you back it and it turns out the other way you look bad, I am speaking from experience. Look my Dev Name is still attached to it
