When I was a carpet inspector I would ask questions like this:

"Did you use name brand Oxiclean, or a generic equivalent?"

"How much Oxiclean did you use, and what products did you use before and afterward?"

"Do you have as much trouble as I do getting the Oxiclean to dissolve?"

That usually got me more truthful answers.

That won't necessarily be the best thing to use. Just rinse it as best you can with water. When you get an acid with a peroxygen product like that you can get nasty reactions.

Rinsed...nothing

Tannin remover... nothing...

That stuff cakes on like concrete. What type of acid is in your tannin remover?

Have a fan running or put on a respirator. The off gassing from peroxide and acid reactions is nasty.

This was my 1st and only Google Guarantee job so far.

She created the yellow stains AFTER she booked the appointment, I could see what it was she was trying to get out

After I gave her the low down on how to properly use Oxy Clean she tells me, "you know, you're never too old to learn but at 82, I'm tired of learning...

I didn't have any tannin remover on my truck so I borrowed some of her husband's denture cleaner.

I knew her 89 year old hubby didnt want to spend the money on me if the stains were not going to come out but he let left her alone with me. I did make it VERY clear that chances we very slight. After I was sure they were not going anywhere I told her where to get a cheap rug online to cover it.

"It think I'll try a tooth brush and some clorox" ...
no

'I think I'll cover it tonight so he doesn't blow a fuse"
no

Just hide his glasses from him..

She laughed, hard.

She loved me.
