I have been out of the area quite a while.
Parents decided to sell their home and move to an apartment adjoining the hospital and elder care facility there.
I had yesterday off and decided to pick up my brothers (but only one was available...Kirk)
We celebrated my dad's 82nd birthday coming in two days. Was a lot of reflection... Lots of reminiscing and how thankful we feel we have been with our parents.
Age is setting in and it is so hard to see our parents needing assistance... But they are still strong in many ways to us!
Also crazy to stop at some of our roots. Grand Forks, North Dakota where our family business started over 52 years ago.
