Carpet and flooring stores, Dry Cleaners, Interior Designors, Get your business listed on as many employee benefits program as you can. You have to offer a small discount but you get a lot of exposure. Also market to construction companies that remodel office business parks. We do well with company here that calls us everytime they are done with a makeover.

Those for me would be the first three I would do, even though referrals don't have to cost you little to nothing. Some guys say door hangers work great for them.

Try Facebook, you'll have a blast watching the stats from your ads. I've been running one for about 2 weeks and hasn't cost me anything yet.

Brent you should go after Seattle for your SEO. If http://www.affordablejoes.com/ can be ranked #3, and in my opinion his whole name, website, and cleaning video send a subliminal message that tells customers your "Cheap, fast, which means lousy cleaning", then you can do it too. There are on average 178 searches for carpet cleaning every day in Seattle, which means there's plenty of internet customers for everyone in the top 10. Ask D.A. Burns here how it's working for him, with the #1 spot there. Don't be too late for the party.

I'm interested in knowing how you found the statistics that said that there were 178 searches in Seattle daily. Would you mind telling us exactly how you did?

All in the tools I have paid for, using what available on the internet. 178 is on average, but without the tools you can go here http://www.google.com/insights/search/# ... m&cmpt=geo and log in to see numbers.
