Have then put an aux trans filter in the cooler lines to catch any metal from the cooler lines and the transmission cooler that is located inside the radiator. Cheap insurance to prevent any further damage!!!
I once was a mechanic in a Dealership...just saying

all of a sudden when in Drive it wont shift pass 1800 RPMS, so basically it wont go pass 2nd gear.

so that ball of fire only did 33 mph up the hill instead of 33 mph??
no, it wasn't a typo
