I just won a job for a travertine shower and floor, as well as a marble floor in seperate bathroom and cleaning soot from some austin stone used in a fireplace setting. She is concerned with a polished travertine floor being too slick when she gets out, so she wants a honed finish. My concern is if I use monkey pads, are they going to cut to much as to expose a bunch of holes if it was a bad batch of travertine? Is there a way to get a honed finish with acid and is consistent, I dont think so? As well, the shower and the entrance to it has calcium carbonate build up. Any idea on how to remove that before I use monkey pads, or will it correct itself with the pads? Please help. Homework is due thursday.

contact MBstone 888 509 5831 and order "Vortex" black and red pads.

have them explain to you how they work in detail but basically they are DIP honing pads
