We are having the usual end of the year uptick in truck mount sales here.

It may have to do with the change of party in power, but only one customer told me that specifically.

Actually what he said is that he was waiting for a sign from God that it was ok to get the machine, and he took the election results as that answer.

Of course discussing politics with a customer is something I never do, nor do I talk religion.

Considering the fact that his comment was a fairly intense mix of both, my only comment was:

"What kind of truck will you be bringing?"

(Fuel hook up issues are more complicated than ever. Don't buy a van, especially a used one, without talking to the installer first)

Another news, this was the first time I was away from Chief Brody for more than a few hours so is welcome home reception was over the top and entirely different than any other dog we've ever had.

His normal routine for meeting any new human or creature is to go belly up to show his submissiveness, so upon entering the house while Paula was gone he was in his crate which I opened and immediately rolled the belly up on the floor which he just couldn't believe and we had a major roll-a-thon going on there for a while.
