Truckmount water?

I was cleaning out some filters on my truckmount yesterday and noticed that the water was dingy looking almost like a brownish tint to it? The water inside the water box was the same. The machine is a performer 405 that I have had for almost a year. I mainly fill up my freshwater tank from my garage. Do I need to descale or run some sort of treatment through the system?

Sounds to me like you have rust coming in form somewhere......

Not sure what it is? There hasn't been much scale in any of the filters.

I had the same thing on my old truck mount. The first few seconds of water would have a brown tint to it. Took a while but I finally found a metal part that had fallen into the fresh water tank. Eventually the galvanization came off and it started to rust. I'm guessing you have something similar or a rusty fitting. Keep looking - you will find it.

That makes a lot of sense. Hopefully its not something thats in a place that I won't be able to find.

Could of come from the garage/house water and you did not see it.

The water coming from the house is fine. I need to check the water when it comes out of the frsh water tank then I guess go from there.
